The scope of the LIMBO project space is primarily to support the practice of LIMBO studio holders, offering artists the valuable space in which to test ideas, expand research, showcase work, and hold discussions. This is balanced with the outward-looking aim of continually building upon LIMBO's 15 year reputation as a beneficial resource supporting cultural development and experimentation in the wider community - in Margate, Thanet and beyond.
All LIMBO artists have a stake in the project space and are encouraged to become involved in developing the programme together. When inviting and hosting external artists and organisations, LIMBO prioritises projects that can demonstrably - mutually and reciprocally - enrich the organisation's aims and its artists' practices.
Project Space Programming
Limbo is currently programmed by a team comprising artist studio holders.
